2025 Annual Banquet
The annual fund raising Banquet for Chapter 182 was held on Saturday 2/22/2025 at the ACD Museum in Auburn. The attendance was smaller than the last few years, at least partly due to the new Registration procedure which did not provide as much advance notice and was confusing to some people. Lessons learned will be applied for the 2026 Banquet and hopefully result in a larger crowd. Despite this issue, it was a great evening with lively participation in the Live and Silent Auctions and the many raffles which went on throughout the evening. Thanks to the many volunteers who assisted with set up on Friday and ran the various activities on Saturday evening.
Thank You to Jerry Ehle, who volunteered again this year to serve as Auctioneer, our Corporate Sponsors, TFC Canopy, Wible Lumber, Inc.. The Kimmel/Mays Family and Michael Krehl. A very special Thank You to our Special Banquet Sponsor, Richard and Sara Conrow. We would also like to thank those businesses and individuals who donated items for the Auctions and Raffles. Without those donations our continuing existence as an organization would not be possible. Finally we would like to express our appreciation to those who attended and provided financial support to enable us to continue our many endeavors related to Habitat enrichment and Youth Education.
A Banquet Wrap up meeting is scheduled for March 17th and at that time we will review the results of the 2025 Banquet and start planning for next year.

Hunter Safety Courses
Hunter Education Classes are held in May and September each year. We get approximately 50 youth participating in the two sessions. Both classes are held at the St. Joe Trap and Skeet Club in St. Joe, Indiana. Thank you to Jim and Phyllis Keckler for organizing and conducting the training classes, and the SJT&SC for allowing us to use their excellent facility.

Youth Pheasant Hunt
Chapter 182 sponsors a variety of youth activities throughout the year and a very important one is our Youth Pheasant Hunt. This event is held at the St. Joe Valley Conservation Club in St. Joe, IN on the first Saturday in December.
Annual Banquet
Each year Chapter 182 has an annual banquet to get fellow pheasant hunters and others in the community to gather together in support of our habitat, youth education, and conservation efforts. This is also an opportunity to educate area residents on the mission of Pheasants Forever and solicit their active involvement in those endeavors. It is important to note that 100% of the money raised at the Banquet stays in our four county membership area and is all used for local projects.

Annual Field Day
Field Days are also an important education tool for all those interested in establishing or improving their habitat projects. A total of 10 Field Days have been conducted by Chapter 182 in recent years, with attendance in excess of 300 people.
